Yusuke Nagata’s Darkroom Prints on View at Tokyo American Club

Prints by FAR EAST DARKROOM founder Yusuke Nagata are currently on view at the Frederick Harris Gallery inside the Tokyo American Club.

Founded in 1928, the Tokyo American Club is one of Tokyo’s most historic private social clubs. The exhibition is being held for approximately three weeks as a special project by TOKYO STREETS.

The exhibition features three darkroom prints by Yusuke Nagata. Among them, the bridge print was hand-toned with black tea, while the multiple exposure print featuring a woman in a kimono and cherry blossoms was hand-toned with matcha. Each print was created individually in the darkroom using traditional analog techniques.
